The Expansion of The Cocoon.

To sit with something from the beginning of it’s days and follow the journey as it grows and evolves is very special and I am grateful everyday to have the time, space and opportunity to begin to create this magical space and begin to share it with the world. With one intention, to connect the world of women. After all we are all connected, right?

A story for you..

It was only just recently that I found out that once Jules and I are married, which is happening in 2026!!! I will be related, by marriage, to my oldest longest friendship. We schooled together, sang together, shimmy’ed together to demo mode on my Casio keyboard in the 90’s, shared highs and lows from weddings to funerals and generally always been a support for each other when life lifted us, or dropped us down hard on our bums! (generally her picking me up, after too much alcohol on one of our many nights out together!)

So to think that we will now be related..see if you can catch this…

Billys’ Auntie is married to Sarahs’ Uncle.

This reminded me that there is always a reason for someone being in your life and staying in your life and loving you in your life. To think that all those years ago, when we met, we would be family. The kind of family that I would choose for myself.

Let this be a reminder to you today, to keep those connections that are important to you alive, to nurture the people that are important to you, have those difficult conversations and continue to watch each other grow and evolve.

Thank you to this woman for teaching me so many things about myself, for always being there for me, guiding me, holding space for me and being herself, always.

Life has an amazing way of coming back full circle on itself, and for that I will be ever grateful.
